Gain a deeper understanding of the fundamental principles of Qigong (pronounced chee gung) in this 2-hour intensive workshop.

Learn how to experience greater vitality, connection, joy and inner peace through breathwork, clearing exercises, mindfulness and flowing movements.

Whether you are brand new to Qigong, or have been practising for awhile, this workshop will show you how to activate your body’s natural healing ability and bring more positive energy into your life.

Qigong is an ancient form of self-care, based on purifying and balancing one’s ‘Qi’ or Life-Force Energy. The Art and Science of Qigong (which loosely translates to ‘energy work’) was developed by Chinese Taoists over thousands of years from observing the way energy moves through Nature.

When you become skillful at working with your Qi, you not only improve your physical well-being, you also tap into more of your creativity and ability to manifest with conscious awareness.

This workshop will combine essential background theory with plenty of time to ‘experience’ this healing energy for yourself. You’ll also get access to a practice video so that you can continue on your own at home.

Perfect for ‘Beginners’ and those attending with ‘Beginner’s Mind’, it will provide an immersive opportunity to deeply embody key Qigong principles.

About the Teacher:

Kerrie Womersley is the founder of Find Yourself Qigong & Coaching. She is a Certified Advanced Holden Qigong Teacher and teaches a modern, easy-to-follow, principles-based style of Qigong. Kerrie is passionate about personal development and helping others discover more of who they are through Qigong and other energy healing tools.

About the Venue:

The workshop will be held in the The Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre which is part of the Tanks Art Centre Complex at 46 Collins Ave, Edge Hill (Cairns). You'll find us in the room behind the 'Tank Sixty-Four Cafe' and Gift Shop. Free Parking is available in Collins Ave and surrounding streets.

What to Wear/Bring:

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for gentle movement. Bring a water bottle and a yoga/exercise mat if you have one. (If you would like to borrow a mat, please request this prior to the day of the workshop.)
