Week 1 - Your Mind as a Sacred Treasure (March 5th)

This week, we begin by opening up our consciousness to the perspective that the mind is our gateway to the freedom, peace and happiness we seek. We will examine just how powerful the mind is and how to use it to create what you want to experience in your life. You will start to discern between what is ‘a story’ or ‘belief’ and what is the ‘higher truth’.

Week 2 – Your Heart as a Sacred Treasure (March 12th)

This week, we look at ways of re-orientating our heart energy internally, so that we become more attuned to our own heart’s wisdom and guidance.  Rather than needing external circumstances to be a certain way in order to ‘feel good’, learn how to be the master of your heart energy and claim the love, joy and fulfillment that is your birthright.

Week 3 – Your Body as a Sacred Treasure (March 19th)

This week, we focus on our physical body and ways of cultivating a deep appreciation for the sacred vessel that we inhabit. You will be invited to consider what your life here on Earth is about from the perspective of your Soul. We will explore a variety of self-care and ‘grounding’ practices that lead to greater self-love and knowing and living your purpose.

Week 4 – Expressing your Divine True Nature (March 26th)

This week, we focus on becoming ‘whole’ by integrating all aspects of who we are. You will be guided to look deep into your heart and soul and make choices from a place of alignment with your Divine True Nature. We will also re-visit some of the key concepts and practices that can help you deepen your spiritual connection and create positive change in your everyday life.

As a participant in this Find Yourself Now Level 1 course, you will:

  • Become more intimately acquainted with your infinite ‘energy body’ through Qigong, an ancient practice that connects you to the energies of Heaven, Earth & Nature and the life-force that flows through you.

  • Learn how to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) as a “go to” self-help tool whenever you get stuck in a loop of negative thinking or feel overwhelmed by uncomfortable emotions.

  • Expand your consciousness to invoke the support of Divine Beings and Spirit Guides and take part in powerful ’Saraswati Healing’ sessions with Angels and Ascended Masters.

  • Strengthen your connection to your Higher Self through ‘Channeled Writing’ so that you can access higher guidance throughout your daily life to keep you on your Soul’s path.

  • Receive a comprehensive Course Manual, with guided exercises to complete both during and between classes.

Millions of people around the world practice Qigong (pronounced chee gong) for stress-relief, healing, self-awareness, emotional balance and vibrant health.

If you're curious to know what Qigong is all about, and how it can help you live a happier, calmer, more-aligned life, this introductory workshop is for you.

Easier than most forms of yoga, and simpler than Tai Chi, Qigong does not require strength, flexibility, or complex co-ordination. However, as a "side-effect" of Qi Gong practice, you become stronger and more flexible!

Qi Gong combines slow, flowing movements with breath-work, mindfulness and intention.

Rather than focusing on 'what you look like' or on the external 'accomplishment' of its forms, Qigong is an internal, individual experience of the ‘Qi' or ' life-force energy' that flows through and all around you.

Participants will receive a handout with descriptions of the key exercises and get one month's access to a short video routine. You'll also have the option of joining ongoing classes face-to-face and/or online.

Week 1 - Your Mind as a Sacred Treasure (October 9th)

This week, we begin by opening up our consciousness to the perspective that the mind is our gateway to the freedom, peace and happiness we seek. We will examine just how powerful the mind is and how to use it to create what you want to experience in your life. You will start to discern between what is ‘a story’ or ‘belief’ and what is the ‘higher truth’.

Week 2 – Your Heart as a Sacred Treasure (October 16th)

This week, we look at ways of re-orientating our heart energy internally, so that we become more attuned to our own heart’s wisdom and guidance.  Rather than needing external circumstances to be a certain way in order to ‘feel good’, learn how to be the master of your heart energy and claim the love, joy and fulfillment that is your birthright.

Week 3 – Your Body as a Sacred Treasure (October 23rd)

This week, we focus on our physical body and ways of cultivating a deep appreciation for the sacred vessel that we inhabit. You will be invited to consider what your life here on Earth is about from the perspective of your Soul. We will explore a variety of self-care and ‘grounding’ practices that lead to greater self-love and knowing and living your purpose.

Week 4 – Expressing your Divine True Nature (October 30th)

This week, we focus on becoming ‘whole’ by integrating all aspects of who we are. You will be guided to look deep into your heart and soul and make choices from a place of alignment with your Divine True Nature. We will also re-visit some of the key concepts and practices that can help you deepen your spiritual connection and create positive change in your everyday life.

As a participant in this Find Yourself Now Level 1 course, you will:

  • Become more intimately acquainted with your infinite ‘energy body’ through Qigong, an ancient practice that connects you to the energies of Heaven, Earth & Nature and the life-force that flows through you.

  • Learn how to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) as a “go to” self-help tool whenever you get stuck in a loop of negative thinking or feel overwhelmed by uncomfortable emotions.

  • Expand your consciousness to invoke the support of Divine Beings and Spirit Guides and take part in powerful ’Saraswati Healing’ sessions with Angels and Ascended Masters.

  • Strengthen your connection to your Higher Self through ‘Channeled Writing’ so that you can access higher guidance throughout your daily life to keep you on your Soul’s path.

  • Receive a comprehensive Course Manual, with guided exercises to complete both during and between classes.

The Divine Art of Letting Go

There comes a moment in life when what you have created for yourself becomes too small for what your soul is seeking to be.

There comes a time when you have to ‘let go’ of what no longer serves you, in order to make space for the next highest version of yourself to emerge.

But letting go can be hard. Sometimes it seems impossible! We can get attached to what’s familiar, even though it weighs us down. We can become paralysed by fear or worry, unable to move forward.

What’s more, we can hold on to resentments, and feelings of anger, grief, shame or guilt much longer than is healthy for us.

The problem is, we have not been taught ‘how’ to let go.

By working with your Qi (Life-force energy), you can release what has been holding you back in a way that is gentle, healing and empowering.

In this 2-hour experiential workshop, you’ll learn about two self-healing methods - Qigong and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) - that can be practiced daily to help you release stuck energies.

Qigong is the 'Self-Care' branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It can be used to clear stagnant or pathogenic Qi from the body, and to transform negative emotions into positive ones..

EFT is a modernised form of Qigong used in psychology. By tapping on the end points of meridians on the body, while ‘speaking your truth’ (aloud or in your mind), energy blockages are released. Your energy system becomes ‘re-wired’, shifting the way you think and feel.

This workshop will include seated and standing exercises only (no floorwork). No prior experience is necessary.

(NB: Your 20-minute reading will be conducted via Zoom or phone. In the event your Akashic Record can’t be accessed at this time, you’ll receive a Crystal Masters oracle healing instead.)

  • Become more intimately acquainted with your infinite ‘energy body’ through Qigong, an ancient practice that connects you to the energies of Heaven, Earth & Nature and the life-force that flows through you.

  • Learn how to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) as a “go to” self-help tool whenever you get stuck in a loop of negative thinking or feel overwhelmed by uncomfortable emotions.

Art of Relaxation 'Tao Yin' Workshop

According to Taoist (Daoist) philosophy, all of life comprises Yin and Yang. These two synergistic forces represent the ‘cosmic dance’ between active and passive energies which ultimately creates ‘wholeness’.

We need both of these energies to be in balance. The energy of nurturing and relaxation (Yin) and the energy of inspiration and activity (Yang).

However, we are living in a Yang-dominated, Yin-deficient society.

Being busy and productive, and striving to ‘make life happen’ has taken priority over creating a sacred space for ourselves to connect with the treasures we have within us and simply ‘allowing life to unfold’.

Through the ancient practice of Tao Yin, we can reclaim the ‘art of relaxation’ that many have forgotten!

Tao Yin is the common ancestor of Qigong and Yoga. It is a mindful movement practice that guides and directs energy through the meridian lines (energy channels) of the body to release tension, replenish vitality, and harmonise Yin and Yang to create a natural healing effect.

Tao Yin has more emphasis on stretching and core strengthening than other styles of Qigong, whilst incorporating more ‘flowing movements’ than Yoga.

In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to a variety of unique movements - standing, sitting (on the floor) and lying down - as well as Taoist-based meditation and visualisation techniques.

Millions of people around the world practice Qigong (pronounced chee gung) for stress-relief, healing, self-awareness, emotional balance and vibrant health.

If you're curious to know what Qigong is all about, and how it can help you live a happier, calmer, more-aligned life, this introductory workshop is for you.

Easier than most forms of yoga, and simpler than Tai Chi, Qigong does not require strength, flexibility, or complex co-ordination. However, as a "side-effect" of Qigong practice, you become stronger and more flexible!

Qi Gong combines slow, flowing movements with breath-work, mindfulness and intention.

🌿 The restricted class size ensures that all participants are spaced at a “Covid-safe” distance apart.

🌿 Hand sanitiser is provided and everyone is asked to use it upon entry and exit.

🌿 Sanitised exercise mats are available, but please bring your own if possible.

🌿 The water filter at the venue will not be available so participants should bring their own water.

🌿 The instructor teaches through demonstration and verbal cues and does not perform physical adjustments (i.e. there is no touching).

Qi Gong Secrets for Weight Loss

From a Qi Gong perspective, excess weight is a sign of imbalance, and usually the source of this imbalance is stress.

Qi Gong is an Ancient Taoist practice of self-care and self-healing, which alleviates stress and balances your 'Qi' - the life-force energy that flows through your body, heart, mind and spirit.

With a regular Qi Gong practice, you can help your body find its healthiest state and lose weight naturally and permanently, in a way that is enjoyable and stress-free!

In this workshop, you'll practice special breathing techniques to boost metabolism, muscle conditioning and core strengthening exercises, and flowing movements that target the digestive organs.

You'll also be shown how to use acupressure and meridian tapping or EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) to release stress and reduce food cravings.

Please note, in addition to seated and standing practices, this workshop will include gentle floor work exercises known as Tao Yin or Taoist Yoga.

No prior Qi Gong experience is necessary.

The workshop will be held in the The Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre which is part of the Tanks Art Centre Complex at 46 Collins Ave. Walk around the back of the Cafe/Gift Shop, and you'll find us in the 'mirrored' room next to the Toilets. Free Parking is available in Collins Ave and surrounding streets.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:

Active wear or comfortable clothing suitable for exercising on the floor. Bring your own yoga mat (if you have one) and a water bottle.

Mats will also be available to borrow.

OUR COVID-SAFE PLAN:

🌿 The restricted class size ensures that all participants are spaced at a “Covid-safe” distance apart.

🌿 Hand sanitiser is provided and everyone is asked to use it upon entry and exit.

🌿 Sanitised exercise mats are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

🌿 The water filter at the venue will not be available so participants should bring their own water.

🌿 The instructor teaches through demonstration and verbal cues and does not perform physical adjustments (i.e. there is no touching).

🌿 As we continue to practice social-distancing, we request that you please refrain from hugging, hand-shaking and gathering less than 1.5 metres apart before and after the workshop.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to tap into "the energetic field of infinite possibilities" and boost your manifesting power!

Discover how to skillfully work with your Qi (energy) and your Yi (intention) to:

Qi Gong (pronounced chee gung) is the 'Self Care' branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine, designed to prevent disease and prolong life, by enhancing the flow of positive energy through the body.

In this workshop, you'll experience gentle yet powerful Qi Gong practices, based on ancient Taoist wisdom teachings, including breathwork, energy activations, slow flowing movements and guided meditation. No prior Qi Gong experience is necessary.

Qi Gong for Beginners

Millions of people around the world practice Qi Gong (pronounced chee gung) for stress-relief, healing, self-awareness, emotional balance and vibrant health.

If you're curious to know what Qi Gong is all about, and how it can help you live a happier, calmer, more-aligned life, this introductory workshop is for you.

Easier than most forms of yoga, and simpler than Tai Chi, Qi Gong does not require strength, flexibility, or complex co-ordination. However, as a "side-effect" of Qi Gong practice, you become stronger and more flexible!

Qi Gong combines slow, flowing movements with breath-work, mindfulness and intention.

Rather than focusing on 'what you look like' or on the external 'accomplishment' of its forms, Qi Gong is an internal, individual experience of the ‘Qi' or ' life-force energy' that flows through and all around you.

Especially for people who are new to Qi Gong, this workshop will present an overview of how you can use your awareness of Qi to improve your overall well-being and create positive change in your life. It will include demonstrations and experiential practice sessions.
