Qigong for Emotional Mastery Online Sessions

These live-streamed sessions via Zoom will focus on 'emotions as energy' and your innate power to transform negative emotions into positive ones.

Learn how to use Qi Gong, 'the art of energy cultivation', to let go of the emotional burdens of the past that can lead to depression and disconnection, as well as clear away the life-draining energies of worry, anxiety, and fear about the future.

Sessions will take place over 5 consecutive Tuesdays from May 5th - June 2nd 2020, from 6.30pm - 7.45pm, with Q&A from 7.45pm-8.00pm (optional).

Part workshop/part class, this is a unique opportunity to be introduced to 5 Element Theory, a fundamental principle of Qi Gong, and gain a new level of mastery over your emotional energy.

Each week will focus on a specific elemental energy and teach you techniques to clear and transform the negative emotions associated with it:

Week 1 (May 5) - Metal Element - Transform Sadness and Depression.

Week 2 (May 12) - Water Element - Transform Fear and Insecurity.

Week 3 (May 19) - Wood Element - Transform Stress and Frustration.

Week 4 (May 26) - Fire Element - Transform Emotional Anxiety and Impatience.

Week 5 (June 2) - Earth Element - Transform Worry and Mental Anxiety.

Not only does this practice elevate your mood, it enhances the flow of Qi to the related physical organs and systems, helping to prevent disease and promote longevity.

You'll learn simple yet powerful skills, including:

* energy clearing exercises

* mindful flowing movements

* breathing exercises

* guided meditation and visualisation techniques

* self-acupressure and tapping

* healing sounds

There will also be an optional Q&A following each session, giving you the chance to ask questions and receive personal guidance.

All you need to participate from home is a good internet connection and a computer, laptop, or tablet. While a smartphone is also an option, we recommend a larger screen if possible. If you have a webcam, you'll also be able to interact via video if you choose to.

You'll be emailed a Zoom link and password before each class, with instructions on how to log-in to join. If you're using Zoom for the first time, you’ll need to download the free Zoom App to your device.

In case you miss a class or wish to repeat a session, you'll receive a private link to view the recording for a limited time.
