When your Qi is circulating freely, it brings vitality to your body, joy to your heart and peace to your mind.

This is what you can experience with 5 Elements Qigong.

Join Advanced Holden Qigong Teacher, Kerrie Womersley, for this energy healing workshop at The Yoga School.

The 5 Elements are Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal. According to Taoist philosophy, they are the interdependent energetic forces that make up all of creation.

The 5 Elements exist within your body’s organs and systems and even your emotions. They also express themselves as distinct personality types.

In this workshop, you’ll have the chance to discover which Elements are strongest in you, and which may need bolstering or tempering.

You’ll practice Qigong exercises designed to harmonise the 5 Elements within you for optimal health and wellbeing.

The first in a series of sessions, this workshop will give special emphasis to the Water Element. You will practice flowing movements to strengthen the kidneys and kidney meridians, tap into your personal power and potential, and transform fear and insecurity into peace and tranquility.

Expect a combination of theory and practice, including breathwork, standing Qigong exercises, Tao Yin floorwork and guided visualisation and meditation.
