Where spiritual awareness becomes embodied wisdom

The Qigong Sanctuary

A gentle rhythm of returning to your True Nature.

"I've spent years exploring spiritual ideas, but this is the first time I feel like I’m in charge of my emotions, my physical health, my connection with Source, and the life I am creating for myself.”

For the seeker who has been walking this path for years

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that visits sincere spiritual seekers – and it has nothing to do with laziness or lack of devotion.

It is the exhaustion of someone who has genuinely tried. Who has shown up on the meditation cushion, read the books that rearranged their thinking, attended the retreats that cracked something open. Who has done enough inner work to start to see their patterns, understand the deeper meaning in their struggles, and sense that life is asking something of them at a Soul level.

And who still finds, in the ordinary moments – the difficult conversations, the sleepless nights, the decisions that should feel clear but don’t – that the peace they touched in stillness is somehow unavailable when they need it most.

I know this exhaustion intimately. For over twenty years, I was a dedicated seeker who was doing all the right "spiritual" things on the outside, while secretly living with anxiety that became so severe I could barely leave my house.

What I eventually discovered wasn't another practice to add to the pile. It was a way of letting the body catch up with everything the mind had already learned.

That is what Qigong gave me. Not a fleeting moment of peace during a morning session, but a steadiness that began to travel with me into daily life, giving me a sense of inner power, strength and stability that I’d never felt before.

Thirty minutes in my backyard became the anchor that made everything else possible.

The Qigong Sanctuary was created from that discovery.

Why Qigong?

In Karma Is the Path, I describe the second step of the Sacred Reclaim Path as Anchoring Your Sanctuary – the recognition that awareness needs somewhere to land, somewhere in the body that feels genuinely safe, settled, and present.

Of all the practices I have explored across decades of sincere seeking, nothing I have encountered does this more gently or more effectively than Qigong.

Qigong is the ancient practice of cultivating and harmonising life-force energy – the Qi that animates every living system. Through gentle movement, breath, and awareness, Qigong teaches the nervous system how to settle, through something closer to remembering than effort, as though the body already knows how to find its way back to stillness and simply needs the right conditions to do so.

I discovered this not in a studio or a retreat, but in my own backyard. Thirty minutes of practice awakened a steadiness I had been searching for across decades of sincere seeking – something portable and reliable that began travelling with me into difficult conversations, uncertain decisions, and the quiet daily moments that, when we are truly present to them, carry their own kind of sacred meaning.

What Qigong offers is a direct, felt connection to life-force energy – an experience that ultimately goes beyond what words can adequately hold. And from that embodied place, the awareness you have already gathered begins, almost without effort, to settle more deeply into the way you actually live.

A Practice Designed for Real Life

One of the biggest barriers to consistent spiritual practice is time.

Many people feel that meaningful practice requires long sessions or perfect discipline.

The Sanctuary is designed differently.

Most of the guided practices are around 20 minutes long, making them easy to include in the rhythm of everyday life.

For those who have more time or wish to remain longer in the quiet, restorative state that Qigong can create, there are also longer one-hour practices available.

These longer sessions offer the opportunity to deepen the experience and simply remain in the calm, nourishing flow of practice.

There is no expectation to complete everything.

Some members enjoy shorter sessions during the week and occasionally choose a longer practice when they have more space.

Others simply follow what feels right for them in the moment.

The Sanctuary is designed to support your own rhythm, rather than asking you to keep up with a schedule.

The Path of Returning

The Sanctuary follows a gentle yearly cycle: The Path of Returning

Each month explores themes that support deeper self-understanding and embodied awareness.

Members revisit these themes again each year.

But from a different place.

A deeper layer.

A more integrated version of themselves.

Growth rarely moves in straight lines.

It unfolds in spirals of understanding.

Each return brings new clarity.

"After years of seeking, this practice feels like coming home."

Others return whenever they feel called to reconnect with themselves.

Both approaches are perfect.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, absolutely.

Qigong isn't about flexibility or athletic ability at all. The movements are slow, gentle, and completely adaptable to your body as it is today.

Many Sanctuary members have spent years exploring consciousness and spirituality rather than physical practices. What they discover is that these gentle movements actually help the body catch up with the awareness they've already cultivated.

Think of it as inviting your body into the conversation you've been having with your Soul. The movements simply create a bridge between inner knowing and physical embodiment.

  • Perfect. You're exactly where you need to be.

The practices inside the Sanctuary are specifically designed for people who are new to Qigong but not new to inner work. I guide you through everything step by step, with clear instructions and gentle encouragement.

You'll start with the simplest movements and naturally develop confidence as your body learns this new language. There's no pressure to "get it right" — only an invitation to be present with whatever arises.

Many members tell me their first session felt surprisingly natural, even though they'd never done anything like it before.

  • This happens often, and there's usually a deeper reason.

Most people encounter Qigong as physical exercise — movements without context. When it's taught that way, it can feel empty or repetitive after the novelty fades.

The Sanctuary approaches Qigong as what it truly is: a practice of cultivating your life-force energy to support the journey you're already on — from spiritual understanding into embodied peace.

When Qigong becomes a conversation between your awareness and your body, rather than just another thing to "do," motivation transforms into something quieter but more sustainable: a genuine desire to return to yourself.

  • The Qigong Sanctuary is designed for real life, not retreat life.

Most guided practices are around 20 minutes — long enough to create a meaningful shift, short enough to fit into the rhythm of daily life. Many members practice three times per week, though you're always free to follow what feels sustainable for you.

Some weeks you might practice daily because it feels nourishing. Other weeks, once might be all you can manage. Both approaches are perfect.

  • Everything is accessed through a simple member portal that works on any device — computer, tablet, or phone.

The platform is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly. You simply log in and choose from the library of practices based on what you need in the moment.

If you ever encounter any technical difficulties or need help navigating the platform, you can reach out directly and receive personal assistance.

  • There's nothing to fall behind on.

The Sanctuary isn't a course with deadlines or a program you need to complete. It's a space you can return to whenever you feel called — whether that's daily, weekly, or after months away.

Some members practice consistently. Others dip in and out as life allows. Both approaches honour the deeper rhythm of integration, which rarely follows a schedule.

The practices will be here whenever you're ready for them. Your journey unfolds at exactly the pace your Soul requires.
